Forklift Operator, 1st Shift - 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Thursday

About the role

The Forklift Operator position within the Operations department reports directly to the Distribution Manager. This role is full-time, working a 1st shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Works the hours needed to support business goals, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Remains flexible and open-minded, performing a variety of job tasks and transitioning between them effectively.
• Absent without prior notice will result in attendance points.
• Maintains a “Whatever it Takes” attitude and lives by company values.
• Willing to learn new tasks and approaches them with enthusiasm.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and department meetings.
• Displays pride in the work area by maintaining daily housekeeping.
• Assists in all areas and processes within the operation as needed.
• Ensures high quality standards are maintained despite tight deadlines.
• Fulfills established productivity standards for the assigned account.
• Understands and follows the stocking strategy and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Reports all equipment malfunctions and product damage to supervisors.
• Follows safety and security policies and SOPs.
• Knowledgeable about multiple accounts and job functions within the operation.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
