Forklift Driver (Stager/ Driver)

About the role

Operate various forklifts to keep the plant running safely and efficiently. This position reports to the Canned Shipping Team Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload brite stacked and finished canned products in trucks and railcars using forklift and/or push pull.
• Use electronic scanners or document all pertinent information to ensure trace/recall inventory accuracy.
• Unload and load empty cans, packaging materials, dunnage, and other materials as assigned.
• Perform H-Lots, labeling when needed, and assist with frozen shipping when required.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and safety rules/regulations are followed and enforced.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

Pay

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
