FORKLIFT DRIVER (Stager/ Driver) 1

Responsibilities

• Operate various forklifts to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.
• Primary responsibility will be to load and unload brite stacked and finished canned products in trucks and railcars using forklift and/or push pull.
• Must use electronic scanners or document all pertinent information to ensure trace/recall inventory accuracy.
• This position reports to the Canned Shipping Team Leaders.
• Duties also include unloading and loading empty cans, packaging materials, dunnage and other duties as assigned.
• Other duties include H-Lots, labeling when needed, and will be expected to help with frozen shipping when required.
• Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and safety rules/ regulations are being followed and enforced.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.

Pay

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
