About the role
The Forest Tech II position at the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources assists with the daily land management and operations of properties owned and/or managed by the Warnell School.
Responsibilities
- Assist with various land management activities on Warnell lands (i.e. prescribed burning, road maintenance, etc.)
- Assist with various maintenance activities on Warnell lands and facilities (i.e. Grounds mowing and pruning, pressure washing facilities, etc.)
- Assist with building maintenance and construction projects on Warnell lands.
- Assist with maintenance and operation of the Warnell vehicle fleet.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- Ability to prune trees and shrubs.
- Ability to operate tractors and potentially bulldozers.
- Ability to assist with prescribed burning and other land management activities.
Skills
