About the role

Provide job-embedded differentiated professional learning to ensure teachers continuously improve their ability to provide instructional services to students resulting in increased student achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Work Schedule: School Year, Work Hours: Elementary Schools 7:45am-3:45pm; Middle and High Schools 7:10am-3:10pm

  • Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas. REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options: Any valid Indiana Teaching license with content endorsement(s) covering grades K-6
  • Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
  • Student performance data in the teacher's classroom must show a positive trend of growth on the Indiana College and Career Standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership on their Quality Improvement Team (QIT) and at the school in developing school-based curriculum (SCIP's Assessments of and for Learning and Instructional Design).
  • Have skillfully facilitated teams through curriculum processes or problem solving effectively.

Requirements

Final date for current FWCS teacher transfers is July 10, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
