About the Role
We are seeking a licensed MD to provide inpatient forensic psychiatric care in a 150-bed facility. The clinician will manage a caseload of approximately 12-14 patients across a diverse age range, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric services within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Participate in daily treatment planning and team discussions
- Manage a variable length of patient stays in a forensic inpatient setting
- Collaborate with support staff, including RNs, therapists, technicians, and administrative personnel
Requirements
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Experience with forensic inpatient populations preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
Schedule
Full-time, day shift role, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No call coverage required.
