About the role

The Forensic Interviewer is responsible for conducting detailed interviews with victims of crime to gather critical evidence and information.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough forensic interviews to collect accurate and reliable information from victims
  • Document all interview details meticulously in accordance with legal standards
  • Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity in handling sensitive information
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other investigative agencies to share findings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in investigative or forensic settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in interviewing
  • Proficiency in computer software used for data management and analysis
  • Experience with crisis intervention techniques
