About the role
The Forensic Interviewer is responsible for conducting detailed interviews with victims of crime to gather critical evidence and information.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough forensic interviews to collect accurate and reliable information from victims
- Document all interview details meticulously in accordance with legal standards
- Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity in handling sensitive information
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other investigative agencies to share findings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in investigative or forensic settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
Qualifications
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in interviewing
- Proficiency in computer software used for data management and analysis
- Experience with crisis intervention techniques
