Forensic Competency Field Representative

This position works within the Justice Services division of Central Administration, ODMHSAS. The incumbent will coordinate, monitor, and perform a wide range of functions supporting forensic competency programming within the assigned area of the State. This role ensures quality and compliance with Oklahoma State Statutes, provides technical assistance for data collection, assists in reaching target populations, and supports contracted providers in proper reporting and record maintenance. Additional duties include formal training of program partners.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, monitor, and perform functions supporting forensic competency programming.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with Oklahoma State Statutes.
  • Provide technical assistance for data collection.
  • Assist in reaching optimum target populations.
  • Support contracted providers in proper reporting and maintenance of required records.
  • Conduct formal training for program partners.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and three years of professional experience in one of the following fields: social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation, or vocational rehabilitation.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
  • Willingness and ability to fulfill job-related travel; valid driver’s license required.

Pay

Annual salary: $51,250.00.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
