About the Role

This internship offers real-world experience working with talented professionals in investigative accounting engagements. You will collaborate with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses resulting from catastrophes. Projects may include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing historical financial and industry information
  • Revenue and expense projections
  • Insurance claim evaluations
  • Economic damage evaluations

Assignments provide exposure to a wide range of industries, from small local retail stores to multinational entities.

Schedule

Start and end dates are flexible for this internship, running from May 2027 to August 2027. Both part-time and full-time options are available:

  • Part-time: 20–29 hours per week
  • Full-time: Minimum of 30 hours per week, with an expectation of up to 40 hours

This opportunity is fully onsite.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior-level student pursuing an Accounting major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel (intermediate or advanced level)
  • Openness to training in other Windows-based applications
  • Motivation, enthusiasm, and a self-starter mindset with an interest in learning new skills

Pay

Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $30–$32 per hour, depending on individual candidate experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks.
