Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to support key accounting processes and financial reporting activities for our aftermarket automotive business. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of financial data through accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports.
- Collaborate with AP/AR, fixed asset, and inventory teams to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS as applicable).
- Assist with audit requests and documentation for internal and external auditors.
- Participate in system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Help track and analyze key accounting metrics and variances.
- Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with retention policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting; manufacturing or automotive industry experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional-level English fluency required.
Pay
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $70,000.00 to $90,000.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
