About the role

This internship offers real-world experience in investigative accounting engagements, working with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses from catastrophes. Projects may include analyzing financial and industry data, revenue and expense projections, insurance claim evaluations, and economic damage assessments across diverse industries, from local retail to multinational entities.

Schedule

Internships are available for January 2027 – May 2027 and May 2027 – August 2027, with flexible start and end dates. Both part-time (20–29 hours/week) and full-time (30–40 hours/week) options are available. This role is fully onsite.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior-level student pursuing an Accounting major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, with intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Willingness to train in other Windows-based applications
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and apply new skills

Pay

Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $30 – $32 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks.
