About the role

McMillen, Inc. is seeking immediate placement of experienced Foremen, Carpenters, and Laborers for a project in Joseph, OR. This project is expected to start on July 20, 2026, and will continue through the end of 2027. The company expects additional long-term work opportunities in the Western Region.

Responsibilities

  • Foreman: Oversee and facilitate all aspects of on-site construction activities or projects. Lead a crew of 1 to 20 persons and have first-hand working knowledge of the elements required for execution of the various activities or projects. Involve in pre-construction activities with the Superintendent and continue throughout project completion, contract closeout and warranty.
  • Carpenter: Fabricate, set, and strip concrete forming systems, place, pour, repair, and finish concrete for heavy civil projects.
  • Laborer: Perform demolition, hydro blasting, dewatering, and pump management activities. Assist other skilled crafts on the project and perform additional duties.

Requirements & Details

  • Qualifications: Background check and drug screen required. Security clearance based on background check results.
  • Schedule: 6/10 schedule with potential for swing shift schedule.
  • Compensation: Prevailing Wage + Zone Pay. Per Diem if temporarily assigned 70+ miles from residence.
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adjusting focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
