Foreman - Underground Division
Essential Functions
Supervises, coordinates, and works with underground construction crews on projects consisting of major site work and miscellaneous other construction work. Will coordinate personnel, trucking, material suppliers, and safety.
Education Requirements
A high school diploma is required.
Experience Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as an Underground Foreman are required.
Desired Knowledge and/or Skills
- Technical skills to ascertain a quality, cost-effective product.
- Effective leadership with vital goal-setting, planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to think ahead, anticipate potential situations, and provide practical solutions to conflicts that arise during the course of business.
- Knowledge of equipment and ability to read stakes.
- Familiarity with local site conditions, agency standards, local vendors, and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and First Aid skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
License/Certification
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
