Foreman III

This position directs activities of workers building and setting forms made of wood, metal, vinyl, and other materials in accordance with customer specifications for concrete structural construction. The role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, long hours, and weekends based on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads large crews or multiple crews and oversees major project areas or critical path work.
• Serves as the primary field lead for the trade.
• Plans and coordinates complex construction phases.
• Manages manpower, equipment, and material planning for large scopes.
• Coordinates extensively with superintendents, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers.
• Anticipates schedule conflicts and implements solutions.
• Leads constructability discussions and field problem solving.
• Monitors productivity, cost impacts, and schedule performance.
• Mentors developing foremen and crew leads.
• Contributes to safety leadership and project planning meetings.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary or trade secret information.
• Ensures personal safety and the safety of co-workers; authorized to stop work for unsafe conditions.
• Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience finishing concrete structures and pier foundations, setting steel preformed forming systems, and pouring concrete.
• Strong understanding of forming systems, sequencing, and structural requirements.
• Experience directing others within a small work unit executing work procedures.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work phases.
• Plan reading and problem-solving capabilities.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions.
• Capable of lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching as needed.

• Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, and steel-toed shoes.
• Ability to identify critical issues and formulate action plans with all levels of management.
• Must remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Capable of evacuating the work area in a timely manner during emergencies.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
