Foreman - Crew Chief

Olympia Moving & Storage is seeking experienced Crew Chiefs for residential, commercial, and specialty moves. Competitive pay, sign‑on bonuses, and a flexible schedule are offered.

Compensation

Starting rates are $25.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunity for tips and overtime. A sign‑on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for qualified crew chiefs. Top crew chiefs (foremen) can earn $70,000–$130,000 per year, including wages, tips, referral incentives, and bonuses.

Schedule

Full‑time, flexible schedule. Early‑morning dispatches may be required.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation to the branch location and a valid driver’s license
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background investigation
• Above‑average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills
• Ability to lift 50–75+ pounds regularly
• Ability to be on your feet 6–10 hours a day
• Team player ready to tackle any challenge
• Availability for early‑morning dispatch
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Represent Olympia Moving to the best of your ability
• Lead, train, and mentor a moving team
• Serve as the primary on‑site contact and communicate with clients
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and staff
• Use resources to solve problems and overcome obstacles
• Perform both residential and commercial moving jobs
• Train and coach others on packing household items, from books to dishes to antiques
• Assist and direct the team in carrying heavy items up and down stairs
• Protect homes, doors, stairs, floors, walls, and furniture with moving pads
• Train and assist others on disassembling and re‑assembling furniture and equipment
• Complete billing, paperwork, inventories, and reporting on a mobile platform
