Foreman
Crew Leadership
Direct and supervise daily activities of a designated work crew.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity targets are hit.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and work plans to guide crew execution.
Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to support efficient operations.
Safety
Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within crew.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and pre-task planning meetings.
Identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
Immediately report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Quality
Ensure all work meets project specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
Perform ongoing inspections of crew work and correct deficiencies.
Coordinate with the Superintendent on inspections and testing req.
Coordination
Collaborate with other Foremen/trades to ensure proper sequencing/workflow.
Communicate daily progress, work constraints, and resource needs to the Superintendent.
Participate in coordination meetings and planning sessions.
Productivity
Track daily production and crew performance.
Optimize use of labor, equipment, and materials.
Identify and communicate potential delays or inefficiencies.
Documentation
Aid in maintaining accurate daily reports of crew activities, labor hours, and equip. usage.
Assist in documenting field changes, issues, and progress.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- 2 years of documented experience in geotechnical / geostructural design-build construction or heavy civil construction
- Prior experience leading crews in a Foreman or lead role
- Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and safety practices
- Stand, walk, kneel, climb, bend, and work from heights or within confined spaces
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of materials over rough terrain
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test

Compensation and Benefits
- $37.74 - $45.00+ per hour
