Foreman - ADA Curb Ramp Experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Foreman with specialized knowledge in ADA curb ramp construction to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete labor and proven leadership skills to oversee and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of concrete laborers in the construction and installation of ADA curb ramps.
• Ensure all work complies with ADA standards, local codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Inspect materials, tools, and equipment to ensure proper use and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Provide training and guidance to crew members to improve skills and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role in concrete labor.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with ADA curb ramp construction and compliance.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in Jacksonville, FL.
