Foreclosure Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains delinquent files and ensures they are breached by required milestones.
• Maintains foreclosure referral review timelines and interacts with various parties as necessary.
• Maintains pre-foreclosure review timelines and coordinates with parties involved.
• Prepares foreclosure recommendation packages and financial figures as needed.
• Prepares a pre-sale checklist and ensures compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinates delivery and receipt of documents needed by counsel.
• Prepares and executes documents as required.
• Manages reports and exception reporting to minimize risk.
• Prioritizes work to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Audits documents and deeds for accuracy and signs off on figures for judicial foreclosures.
• Coordinates with other departments to minimize losses and mitigate risk.
• Identifies and addresses quality compliance issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2+ years mortgage servicing experience.
• Preferred minimum 3+ years foreclosure experience.
• Preferred GSE and government experience.
• Preferred LPS Desktop Solution experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with foreclosure legal documents.
• Proficient in using computers, fax machines, scanners, photocopiers, typewriters, and telephones.
• Knowledge of basic computer software including Windows, Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to use good judgment.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
