Forecast Reporting Consultant
About the role
The Forecast & Analysis Consultant role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.
Responsibilities
- Maintains forecast accuracy and refines models using variance analysis.
- Translates volume forecasts into headcount, FTE, and skill-mix requirements.
- Partners with the WFM team to align long-range forecasts with short-term scheduling and intraday management.
- Supports hiring, backfill, cross-training, and redeployment strategies.
- Coordinates and manages all WFM analysis and forecasting processes.
- Ensures quality and integrity of data collected and insights shared with the business.
- Provides expertise to lower-level consultants on the analysis of business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
- Provides data-driven insights to inform strategic initiatives, growth planning, and operational changes.
- Quantifies workforce impacts of new programs, regulatory changes, or benefit design shifts.
- Manages ROI Analysis of initiatives impacting workflow and productivity.
- Presents forecasts, assumptions, and risks to operational and executive leadership.
- Creates clear, executive-level summaries and consults on dashboard development.
- Serves as liaison for the FEP WFM forecast processes and the annual operating plan.
- Ensures forecasting methodologies are aligned with business targets and operating plans are consistent with corporate objectives.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in business or related field; a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in data collection, analysis and reporting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences
- Experience with Workforce management tools (e.g., NICE, Verint, Aspect, or similar).
- Knowledge of the health care industry.
