FORD SERVICE TECHNICIAN / MOBILE TECHNICIAN

About the role

Rydell of Independence is seeking skilled, motivated, and career-focused Ford Service Technicians and Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing service team. We provide the training, support, and opportunities needed to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, drivability concerns, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC systems, and electrical systems
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information to identify and resolve vehicle concerns
• Perform warranty repairs according to Ford standards and procedures
• Conduct inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with service advisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Ability to efficiently manage workload in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include Ford Certifications, ASE Certifications, previous automotive technician experience, diagnostic and electrical repair experience, and experience with Ford vehicles and manufacturer repair procedures
