About the Role
The incumbent will be responsible for directing or assisting in directing a competitive football program while meeting Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) requirements. The coach serves as both a mentor and positive role model for all students.
Responsibilities
- Build positive working relationships with students, school staff, administration, parents, and the community.
- Develop young athletes while fostering a strong, positive, and competitive team culture that emphasizes good sportsmanship and academic excellence.
- Mentor, train, and educate athletes in football skills, techniques, and game strategies.
- Promote excellence and a winning culture on and off the field.
- Train and educate student athletes in safety and injury prevention.
- Ensure compliance with UHSAA requirements and regulations.
- Maintain and build upon a program with strong traditions while collaborating with an engaged community.
Requirements
- Cleared background check through Granite School District (cost covered by the district).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Utah Concussion Training certification through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).
Skills
- Ability to mentor and develop student athletes.

Pay
Stipend only.
