Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations for multiple foodservice and restaurant locations across Northern California.
- Drive execution of the company’s “Fast, Friendly, and Clean” service standards at every location.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop store-level managers and team members.
- Conduct regular location visits, operational audits, and performance reviews to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure consistent execution of food quality, food safety, sanitation, merchandising, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor sales, labor, food cost, waste, and profitability metrics and implement action plans to improve performance.
- Support new store openings, remodels, program rollouts, and operational initiatives.
- Partner with Operations, HR, Training, and Foodservice leadership teams to improve processes and team performance.
- Develop strong bench strength and succession planning within the district.
- Coach teams on guest recovery, hospitality, upselling, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all locations maintain compliance with local, state, and company food safety and labor requirements.
- Aid in training programs and ongoing development for managers and team members.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and operational excellence.
- Respond quickly and effectively to operational issues, staffing challenges, and guest concerns.
- Support and reinforce company culture, policies, and leadership expectations throughout the district.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in foodservice, quick service restaurant (QSR), fast-food, or convenience retail operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
- Experience operating foodservice and beverage equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to operational excellence and consistency.
- Self-motivated team player with a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves approach.
- Ability to analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout Northern California based on operational needs.
