Responsibilities
- Actively communicate to ensure polite, friendly, and attentive interactions with all guests and co-workers.
- Actively follow the Service Standards to ensure all interactions follow the Lowes Foods behavioral expectations.
- Maintain product level, quality and freshness in accordance with the company’s stocking and rotation practices.
- Maintain organizational standards in accordance with the company’s 5S / Simplify practices.
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly cleaning equipment, workspaces, cases, utensils, or any other area that requires cleaning.
- Communicate guest requests to management.
- Maintain food safety protocols in accordance with established governmental and company practices.
- Maintain supply and sanitation standards within all dining areas including, but not limited to, emptying trash, sweeping floors, refilling condiments.
- Take guest orders and process transactions.
- Prepare product for sale (expediting, packaging, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing).
- Deliver in-store food orders to the guest’s location.
- Cross-train in multiple areas of Foodservice including, but not limited to, order taking, sandwich and salad making, register operation, slicer operation, order fulfillment.
- Perform front porch duties to ensure “guest arrival” standard is maintained.
- Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
- Aid in product receiving and storage.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
