Food Service Clerk
About the role
Consistently demonstrates excellent customer service maintaining compassion and empathy at all times. Responsible for receiving and processing meal orders for patients, visitors, and caregivers. Enter and maintain accurate patient and diet order information in the diet office computer system. Assist customers on modified diets with their food requests. Communicate via telephone, fax, and other message information systems. Perform related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service experience
- 6 months of computer keyboard experience with a Microsoft Operating System

Pay
Pay Range: $26.99 - $37.09. Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

About The Team
