Food Services Supervisor

About the Role

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Food Service Supervisor to work in a residential treatment facility in Gulfport, MS. The Food Service Supervisor plays a vital role in providing fresh, nutritious, and appetizing meals to participants in this 24-hour facility. Weekends and holidays may be required. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt, enabling adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare meals in accordance with cooking directions and health department regulations.
• Meet scheduled meal times for the facility.
• Serve meals to residents of the facility.
• Provide courteous customer service to staff and consumers.
• Work efficiently and as a team member.
• Follow company guidelines.
• Order and maintain supplies.
• Coordinate meal preparation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Serve Safe certification a plus.
• Two (2) years of work experience in cafeteria-style food preparation preferred.
• Ability to work independently to prepare food required.
• Customer service skills required.
