Responsibilities
- Provides food service to patients, guests, or customers.
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment.
- Prepares food or drink items, assembles, and delivers patient trays or catering events.
- Performs daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
- Receives and stores food and supply deliveries using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
- Acts as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- HS Graduate or equivalent GED required
- Food handling experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
