Food Services Rep Sr

Responsibilities

• Provides food service to patients, guests, or customers.
• Aids patients with menu selection based on preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Maintains daily interactions with patients to enhance their experience.
• Covers shifts in place of the Food Service Coordinator.
• Ensures a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment.
• Prepares food items, assembles trays, and delivers catering events.
• Cleans dishes and work areas daily.
• Manages inventory and receives/sorts food and supplies using FIFO principles.
• Serves as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, and other hospital staff.
• Trains new team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Has cross-trained proficiency in three or more areas.
• Preferred credential: Food Handler.
• Essential experience: Six months in food services.
• Specialization: Food services.
• Facility: BayCare Health System, Food And Nutrition Services-MCH.
• Status: Full-time, exempt.
• Shift: Shift 4 (Days, Evenings, Nights, Varies).
• Weekend work: Every.
• On-call: No.
