Food Services Rep

About the role

Provides food service to patients, guests, or customers. Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment. Prepares food or drink items, assembles, and delivers patient trays or catering events. Performs daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receives and stores food and supply deliveries using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles. Acts as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel, and Food and Nutrition Services. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver food or drink items for patients, guests, or catering events.
• Assemble and deliver patient trays.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment.
• Perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
• Receive and store food and supply deliveries using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
• Act as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, and other hospital personnel.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Food Handler certification (or equivalent experience).
• Forklift certification preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time, non-exempt position.
• Shift varies (Shift 4: 8-10 hours).
• Weekend work required every other weekend.
• No on-call duties.
• No remote work.
