About the role
The position is a Call Center Operator with split time in the office and in the kitchen facilities. The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is a non-profit Tribal health organization serving Alaska Native and American Indian communities. ANTHC provides comprehensive health services, including medical care, wellness programs, and research, and is the largest and most comprehensive Tribal health organization in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls promptly and professionally, listening attentively to inquiries and providing accurate information.
- Resolve customer issues with empathy and efficiency, process orders and requests, and document all interactions in the food service software.
- Meet performance metrics such as call handling time, customer satisfaction, and accuracy, while making outbound calls for follow-up or surveys.
- Stay current on product knowledge, company policies, and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance expertise and align with ANTHC's mission and vision.
- Follow company policies, including data privacy and security guidelines, to ensure compliance and operational integrity, supporting ANTHC's goals.
- Collaborate and support the Food and Nutrition Services team by cross-training in other areas, managing medical food and supplement inventory, and meeting with patients to discuss meal orders, ensuring department efficiency.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, representing ANTHC’s values and fostering trust with customers, patients, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Non-supervisory - One (1) year of work experience.
- An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college education or associate degree preferred.
- Experience in call center, food service, or healthcare environment preferred.
- A Food Worker Card within 30 days of hire is required.
