FOOD SERVICE WORKER (ON CALL)

About the role

Chartwells K12 is hiring immediate on-call FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Pocono Mountain School District - Pocono Mountain School Road, Swiftwater, PA 18370. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is on-call with days and hours varying. More details will be provided during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required. Fixed Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. We Make Applying Easy!

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
