About the role

The job is responsible for nutrition care activities in patient and non-patient care areas. The person must be able to function independently with limited supervision, provide customer service, and ensure appropriate communication and follow-up to meet all customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate hospital computer systems and other equipment accurately per duty list/department standards
• Clean and sanitize per department standards
• Participate in department and hospital performance improvement activities
• Attend team and/or department meetings
• Complete required/mandatory in-services
• Comply with hospital/department policies and procedures, including all food safety regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent experience preferred
• Prior food service training or experience in operating a cash register and computer skills preferred
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English

Pay

The estimated base rate for this position is $25.45 - $27.36 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
