Responsibilities

• Completes assigned functions within the department, providing excellent customer service.
• Operates and maintains dietary food equipment.
• Sanitizes and cleans the sanitation area of the Food Service Department.
• Communicates effectively with patients, customers, and coworkers.
• Assesses customer needs and provides products accordingly.
• Records and maintains food temperatures.
• Maintains personal hygiene and follows department standards.
• Performs daily and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Trains new employees in work-flows.
• Cleans and stocks immediate work area before leaving.
• Controls food and paper waste.
• Maintains and checks floor par stocks.
• Ensures excellent customer service.
• Respects and uses equipment appropriately.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Food Service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
• Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, stooping, visual acuity (color, depth, perception).
• Frequent typing/clerical/dexterity, seeing/monitor/computer use, talking.
• Constant walking.

Pay Range

USD $16.12/Hr. - USD $24.12/Hr.
