Food Service Worker III Per Diem, Varied Evenings

About the role

This position is responsible for nutrition care activities in both patient and non-patient care areas. The Food Service Worker III must function independently with limited supervision, provide excellent customer service, and ensure effective communication and follow-up to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate hospital computer systems and other assigned equipment accurately per duty list and department standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks according to department standards.
• Participate in department and hospital performance improvement activities.
• Attend team and/or department meetings.
• Complete required and mandatory in-services.
• Comply with hospital and department policies and procedures, including all food safety regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior food service training or experience in operating a cash register and computer skills is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Pay

The estimated base rate for this position is $25.45 - $27.36 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
