Food Service Worker I - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned functions within the Food and Nutrition Service department.
• Provides excellent customer service, operates and maintains dietary food equipment.
• Interacts with customers, physicians, nursing, and visitors to provide efficient, courteous, and accurate service.
• Performs routine duties in the sanitation area of the Food and Nutrition Service Department.
• Communicates effectively with patients, customers, and coworkers.
• Assesses customer needs and delivers products to meet those needs.
• Records food temperatures during meal hours and takes corrective action when necessary.
• Maintains a safe and clean work area.
• Completes daily and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Trains new employees in workflows.
• Cleans and stocks immediate work area before leaving at the end of shift.
• Maintains and checks floor stocks on assigned floors and on-call rooms.
• Presents a professional and courteous manner when dealing with patients, physicians, visitors, and staff.
• Controls food and paper waste and uses resources efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Food Service experience preferred.

Pay

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The pay range is USD $16.98/Hr. to USD $25.47/Hr.
