About the Role
The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I is a competent support services employee responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. This role involves performing specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist and meeting mutually agreed-upon performance goals/objectives established annually.
Key responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, adhering to infection control practices, maintaining department security, and following HIPAA guidelines. The role also requires adherence to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards, utilizing proper processes to achieve patient, customer, and physician satisfaction goals, and fostering a culture aligned with HCA’s vision, mission, and values.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
- Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire
