About the Role
The Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) performs all non-cooking functions, including washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, loading carts, general cleaning, and receiving.
Responsibilities
- Maintains relationships with patients and customers to ensure quality satisfaction of food.
- Communicates courteously, considerately, and cooperatively with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
- Works in direct contact with a variety of foods.
- Meets schedule requirements for attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a service-related environment or industry.
