Food Service Tech, Full-Time/Days

About the role

The Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) performs non-cooking related tasks such as washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, loading carts, and general cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and prepares cold food items
• Produces salads and serves meals
• Cashiers and passes trays to patients
• Loads and unloads food carts
• Performs general cleaning duties
• Receives food supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-related environment/industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel
• Able to work flexible schedules
• Read, write, and speak English

Qualifications

• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and provide quality customer service
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Must be able to adhere to food safety guidelines
