Food Service Tech, Full-Time/Days

About the role

The Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) performs tasks not involving cooking, such as dishwashing, cold preparation, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, and general cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and cleans kitchen areas
• Performs cold prep and salad production
• Serves food and handles cash transactions
• Passes trays and loads carts
• Carries out general cleaning duties
• Receives supplies and materials

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-related environment/industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel
• Ability to maintain schedules and meet attendance and punctuality requirements
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in direct contact with various types of food
