Food Service Team Member, Yellowstone General Stores

About the role

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Food Service Team Member to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Food Service Cashier, you will display a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately ringing up merchandise and products in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding available products and services
• Aid with daily operational procedures including setup, opening, and closing duties; organize inventory and promptly report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
• Take and fulfill guest orders promptly and accurately, including scooping ice cream and preparing menu items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
• Accurately record all transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including handling credit cards and providing correct change to guests as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to provide excellent guest service
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
• Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders

Qualifications

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for the entire length of shift
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping, carrying, walking, sitting, and reaching
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• +May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold
