About the role

We’re hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our passionate Food Services Team. Alongside a manager, you’ll help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities to ensure food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
• Ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications.
• Maintain a sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes.
• Conduct accurate weekly inventory; prepare orders as needed.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train and mentor food service workers.
• Maintain logs for equipment maintenance and ensure food safety/temperature logs are completed with corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
• Multitask effectively and perform duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager.
• Fill in for absent employees as necessary.
• Oversee daily catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
• Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
• Attend food service meetings and maintain communication with staff.
• Perform cashier duties as needed.
• Promote positive public relations.

Requirements

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient, cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 to $30.00.
