Join our team as a Food Service Supervisor, where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, high-quality dining experiences for patients, staff, and visitors.

About the role

In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee daily food service operations—leading, scheduling, and supporting a dedicated team while ensuring seamless execution across patient dining, retail, and catering services. From coaching and developing staff to stepping in wherever needed, you’ll be at the heart of the operation, ensuring every detail runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a dedicated team in delivering exceptional service
  • Oversee daily food service operations
  • Ensure safe, high-quality dining experiences for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Step in wherever needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage payroll, track meals served and costs, oversee cash handling, and support quality improvement initiatives
  • Forecast production needs, manage inventory, and ensure the department is prepared to meet demand

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or Certification in a related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in food service operation and management training; or
  • High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in food service operation and management training.
