Substitute food-service positions available starting July 2026.
About the role
Assist with food preparation, serving, dish-washing, and general kitchen/serving-area cleaning. Shifts are approximately 2.5–3.5 hours.
Pay
- Base wage: $14.04/hour
- Additional pay tiers based on monthly hours worked:
- Over 20 hours: + $0.75/hour
- Over 30 hours: + $1.50/hour
- Hourly range is based on the 2025–2026 school-year union contract; rates may increase once the new contract is settled.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- One to three years of experience in a school food-service program preferred
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience accepted
