Food Service - Server / Food Service Associate

About the role

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Dietary Aide / Server to join our culinary team at our Eagle Crest South facility in La Crosse, WI. This part-time position serves meals to memory care residents, high-acuity assisted living residents, assisted living, independent living, and residents at Eagle Crest South and Cass Street Assisted Living.

Schedule

• Part-time, 18 hours per 2-week pay period
• Days vary; every other weekend and every other holiday off
• Casual call includes 3+ shifts per month, including 2 weekend shifts
• Example shifts:
  • AM: 6:00am–2:30pm, 7:00am–3:00pm, 7:00am–3:30pm, 9:30am–6:00pm, 11:00am–3:00pm
  • PM: 3:30pm–7:30pm, 4:00pm–7:30pm

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality dining experience by serving attractive, nutritious meals
• Quantity cooking, dish room duties, and general cleaning
• Serve residents’ meals, restock supplies, and assist with meal prep and catering
• Assist with breakfast prep, work the bistro area, and handle baking tasks as needed
• Transport meals to Cass Street Assisted Living when required

Requirements

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic math abilities
• Experience working with seniors or in long-term care preferred
• Quantity cooking experience a plus but not required
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required for meal transportation

Pay

• Starting wage: $16.00–$19.00 per hour, higher based on qualifications, experience, and hours worked
• Opportunity to train for Assistant Cook shifts for increased pay
• Performance reviews and wage adjustments at 100 days and annually
