About the role

As a Food Service Sales Representative at Pacific Coast Fresh Co., you’ll build partnerships that drive growth, collaborate across procurement, operations, and customer success, and stay ahead of market trends to deliver fresh, quality products to the Pacific Northwest’s food community.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new business and turn prospects into raving fans.
• Manage relationships by solving problems, sharing insights, and keeping customers ahead of the curve.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and the customer success team to deliver on‑point solutions.
• Stay sharp on market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
• Hit your goals—and then set new ones.
• Identify potential customers, initiate contact, and foster strong, ongoing relationships.
• Present and sell a diverse product range to new and existing clients, tailoring offerings to their specific needs.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and identify new opportunities.
• Negotiate terms to achieve win‑win agreements.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed sales objectives, contributing to the company’s growth and success.

Requirements

• Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering quality products.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience in foodservice or perishable product sales.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Strategic thinking ability to develop and implement opportunity‑driven strategies.
• Goal‑oriented, self‑starter mindset with a strong hustle.
• Tech‑savvy: proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
