About the role

The Food Service – Dietary Assistant position at Villaspring is part of a newly led department in a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility. This role involves assisting in the food delivery process from the kitchen to the residents' care units, collaborating with the nursing department, and promoting a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides meal service delivery and clean-up for residents from the facility kitchen/kitchenettes
• Affords assistance to cooks with food prep and clean-up tasks in the kitchen
• Affords assistance with dishes, equipment cleaning, maintenance of dining rooms, and checking/unloading stock
• Performs related duties and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with patients and food service as related to total patient care
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work independently and well as a team player
