Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 an hour

About the role

Facility is currently looking for Full Time or Part Time Food Service – Dietary Assistants to join our team in our state-of-the-art, skilled nursing facility. The Food Service Assistant assists in the overall food delivery process from the kitchen to the residents in the nursing care units. The position works collectively with the nursing department and other team members to promote a great dining experience for the residents.

Responsibilities

• Provides meal service delivery and clean-up for residents from the facility kitchen/kitchenettes
• Assists cooks with food prep and kitchen clean-up tasks as needed
• Handles dishes, equipment cleaning, dining room maintenance, and stock checking/unloading
• Performs related duties and other assigned tasks

• Genuine interest in working with patients and food service as it relates to total patient care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
