Food Service Attendant - Dietary
About the role
Performs a variety of routine duties surrounding the preparation and service of food and related sanitation duties according to established policies and regulatory requirements. Areas of service include: Patient Services, Cafeteria, Doctor's Dining Room, and Catering.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves meals to patients, visitors, and staff in a timely manner.
- Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and dining areas.
- Assists with meal planning and ordering as needed.
- Supports the Medical Center's core values in every customer contact.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Experience in food service or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $25.00 - $33.17 per hour.
