Food Service Assistant Tier 2 (5.75 hours/day)

Location: Nashua High School South • Starting: 2026–2027 school year

Pay

Minimum starting salary $16.40 per hour; rate depends on experience and/or SNA certification.

Schedule

5.75 hours per day, 28.75 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and cashiering desirable.
• Must be physically capable of walking, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work with a variety of food-service and cleaning-related products.

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparation and serving of food.
• Handle money and count back change.
• Assist with clean-up in food-service areas and equipment.
• Follow sound safety and health practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator, or Director of Food Service.
