Position Highlights
Position: Food Service Assistant II
Location: Elmhurst Hospital
Part time, 20 weekly hours
Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays.
What You Will Do
- Prepares and/or serves foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments.
- Assembles, serves, and/or delivers meals to patients and/or staff in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.
- Ensures food safety and quality for patients, visitors, and staff.
What You Will Need
- Certification: Successful completion of a Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date of position, required.
- PREFERRED: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting.
