Food Service Assistant

About the role

Arbors Valencia is seeking Food Service Assistants to join their team. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $13.00 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with food & beverage supplies including small trays, carafes, coffee pots, plates, silverware, dishes and glassware.
• Adhere to and apply all Food Server Standards of Excellence.
• Interact with team members, other staff and residents.
• Clean work area and equipment; clean and sanitize kitchen after each meal; and assigned daily cleaning.
• Follow posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
• Operate dishwasher and dispose of trash.
• Washes, cleans and sanitizes pots & pans.
• Busses dishes, trays, and food for dining rooms.
• Loads, unloads, and cleans food carts.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to move at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
• Must be able to stoop and kneel depending on the job.
• Must be able to reach and lift kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to navigate/move about the facility to deliver meals and take meal orders.

Pay

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

• Morning shifts available.
• Afternoon shifts available.
• Evening shifts available (no late nights).
